Privacy Policy

How PSend collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our website, dashboard, and API.

1. Who we are

PSend (“we”, “us”) provides an email delivery API and dashboard. For GDPR purposes we act as a controller for account, billing, and product analytics data, and typically as a processor for recipient and message content you submit through the API on behalf of your end users.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email, password hash or OAuth identifiers (Google / GitHub), organization details
  • Billing data — wallet top-ups, invoices, tax IDs where provided (payment card data is handled by our payment processor)
  • Usage data — API requests, delivery events, bounce and complaint signals, IP addresses, user agent
  • Message metadata — sender, recipients, subject, timestamps, status; message bodies as needed to transmit and debug
  • Marketing preferences — whether you opted in to product updates and promotions
  • Support communications — tickets and email you send us

3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

  • Contract — create and manage your account, send email via the API, process wallet payments
  • Legitimate interests — secure the service, prevent abuse, improve deliverability, measure product usage (balanced against your rights)
  • Consent — optional marketing emails (“updates, guides, and promotions”); you may withdraw anytime
  • Legal obligation — tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests

4. OAuth sign-in

If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive basic profile information (such as name, email, and provider user id) according to your permissions with that provider. We do not receive your provider password.

5. Sharing

We share data with:

  • Infrastructure and email transit providers needed to deliver mail
  • Payment processors for wallet funding
  • Analytics and error monitoring tools under appropriate agreements
  • Authorities when required by law

We do not sell personal data. Subprocessors are bound by data processing terms where required.

6. International transfers

Data may be processed in the EU/EEA, UK, United States, or other regions where our providers operate. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

7. Retention

  • Account data — while the account is active, then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after closure
  • Delivery logs — typically up to 90 days unless a longer period is needed for disputes or security
  • Billing records — as required by tax law

8. Security

We use TLS in transit, hashed API keys, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; report suspected incidents to [email protected].

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. EU/UK residents may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, email [email protected].

10. Children

PSend is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and security. Optional analytics cookies, if used, will be disclosed and controllable where required.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may also be notified by email or in-product notice.
