## Email sending plans

| Plan | Price | Emails/mo | Overage (per 1,000) | Overage (per email) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free | $0/mo | 5,000 | — | — |
| Hacker | $10/mo | 50,000 | $1.00 | $0.0010 |
| Scale | $49/mo | 200,000 | $0.80 | $0.0008 |
| Enterprise | $199/mo | 500,000 | $0.50 | $0.0005 |

- Overage applies only after the included monthly volume is consumed, and only on paid plans.
- Free is hard-capped at 5,000 emails/month with no overage. Further sends are rejected until the next period or an upgrade.
- Paid-plan overages debit the prepaid wallet at the per-email rate. If the wallet cannot cover the request, the API returns HTTP 402.

## Included volume examples

Effective rate if you use the full included volume (base subscription only, before overage):

- **50,000 emails/mo**: Hacker at $10/mo — $0.20 per 1,000 emails.
- **200,000 emails/mo**: Scale at $49/mo — $0.24 per 1,000 emails.
- **500,000 emails/mo**: Enterprise at $199/mo — $0.40 per 1,000 emails.

Example overage (paid plans): sending 10,000 emails past included volume costs `10,000 × overage_per_email` from the wallet (Hacker: $10.00; Scale: $8.00; Enterprise: $5.00).

## Wallet billing

- Each paid tier includes monthly send volume. Overages draw from the wallet at the published per-email rate.
- Wallet top-ups never expire and carry forward indefinitely.
- Free has no wallet overage path — the monthly hard cap is enforced.
- Self-serve plans are billed monthly. There is no annual discount on self-serve tiers.
- For volume above Enterprise or custom contracts, contact [sales@runpsend.com](mailto:sales@runpsend.com).

## Planet-managed limits

Throughput (RPS), batch size, webhook concurrency, and egress IP pool assignment are controlled in Planet so shared and dedicated reputation stay healthy for both bulk and transactional traffic.

## Feature highlights by plan

- **Free**: 5,000 emails/mo hard cap, 1 custom domain, shared IP pool, 1 webhook endpoint, batch up to 25 recipients/request, 5 API RPS, 7-day log retention. Ticket support via email.
- **Hacker**: 50,000 emails/mo, wallet overage at $0.001/email, 1 custom domain, shared IP pool, 3 webhook endpoints, batch up to 50, 10 RPS, 14-day retention.
- **Scale**: 200,000 emails/mo, overage $0.0008/email, unlimited domains, optimized IP pools, 10 webhook endpoints, batch up to 500, 50 RPS, 30-day retention.

All plans include: REST API (`POST /v1/emails`, `POST /v1/emails/batch`), SMTP relay (`smtp.runpsend.com`), official SDK examples, HMAC-signed webhooks, open & click events, SPF/DKIM/DMARC domain auth, account gate for risky traffic, Google/GitHub OAuth on the dashboard, TLS in transit, and GDPR-aligned processing (see https://www-staging.runpsend.com/legal/privacy).

## FAQ

### Do you offer annual discounts on self-serve plans?

No. Self-serve Free, Hacker, Scale, and Enterprise list prices are monthly. For an annual commitment at high volume, email sales@runpsend.com.

### Is there a free trial?

No separate trial. The Free plan is free forever with a 5,000 emails/month hard cap.

### What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit cards for wallet top-ups and paid plan subscription. Card data is handled by the payment processor (see Privacy Policy).

### Who can I contact about a custom plan?

Email [sales@runpsend.com](mailto:sales@runpsend.com).

### What happens if I exceed my plan?

- **Free**: Sends are rejected once the monthly hard cap is reached. Upgrade or wait for the next period.
- **Paid**: Overages debit the wallet at the plan’s per-email rate. If the wallet balance is insufficient, the API returns HTTP 402 until you top up or upgrade.

### Do unused included emails roll over?

No. Included monthly volume resets each billing period. Wallet balance (prepaid cash) never expires and is separate from included volume.

### Are bulk and transactional on the same plan?

Yes. Both use `POST /v1/emails` and `POST /v1/emails/batch` under the same auth, wallet, and Planet limits.

### Does upgrading raise API rate limits?

Yes. Each plan has a published RPS and batch max (see comparison table). Limits are enforced by Planet and the API gateway.
